Quality Processes
Purpose & Scope

The module covers creation, execution, evaluation, and archival of quality checks generated from Inbound Receiving and Production processes.

Quality inspectors/lab technicians
Production operators & shift leaders
Production controllers/quality managers
When Are Quality Checks Generated?
Trigger | Process Step | Automatic Action | Typical Responsible Role |
---|---|---|---|
Inbound delivery | Goods receipt on Warehouse module | System creates Q‑checks for every material that has “Requires QC” flag. The received material batch gains status Waiting for quality check. | Warehouse operator → Quality inspector |
Production instruction | Specific production instruction requires QC | System generates a Q‑check for the WIP batch at that operation. | Production operator → Quality inspector |
